I tried to post an ad for a musical instrument using a link provided by OfferUp to my email address which entered the user into a sweepstakes for posting an ad. After several attempts of uploading photos of the item without success, I reached out to OfferUp's app help desk to let them know to fix the issue because it was very frustrating and annoying, and the offer for the sweepstakes entry ended on October 24. Instead of trying to help me resolve the issue, the next step in the process was OfferUp emailing me and stating that my account had been deleted because I had violated their community terms and/or they noticed that I posted something that wasn't allowed ( a musical instrument?). The email stated that if I wanted further explanation or if I felt that this was done by OfferUp in error, please respond to the email for further assistance. I've replied three different times to that email, but have received zero response from OfferUp. Seeing how many complaints that are on the BBB website, many with the very same issue, it's obvious that this company cares nothing about its community or customers and treats them very poorly, while lecturing their customers on violations of community standards? This is very upsetting and I've done nothing wrong. If my account is not reinstated, I will be sending a complaint to the FCC and have an investigation started surrounding this company and the issues presented by thousands of people.

I had received a pair of airpods that turned out to be fake on July 15th and submitted a buyer protection claim. Offer Up requested further information within 3 days. The information was provided within 3 calendar days, but no refund was issued. Initially, the reasoning for not providing a refund was because Offer Up claims to work off of a different time zone, but this was never stated prior. Then in following emails, Offer Up Support claimed to work in 24 hour periods for days, but this has been falsified by their own legal team. Both Offer Up and myself work from the same Pacific Standard time zone, and Offer Up's legal time states that all timelines are within calendar days, not 24 hour periods. My evidence was provided in time, and Offer Up owes me $118.14 for the refund of the transaction. I would appreciate any help in resolving this matter. Thank you, ******

I shipped an item for a offerup order and the **** tracking didnt update till the day after the deadline so the order got canceled by offer up so I reached out to the help center with offer up and they said when it updates to reach back out so they can do a reprocess on the payment and thats what I did when it updated but the second time they told me they cant do anything about it that I have to work it out with the customer but the customer is refusing to pay me saying im trying tk scam he when he already got his money back and the product is already out for delivery now hes receiving my money and the product for free and offer is not helping me

I have used offer up for years with no issues. I have over 200 positive 5 star reviews. After reading other negative reviews on BBB I realized that they did the same thing to me. I had an occirnace that someone was asking me to send them money not using offer up and I thought that was extremely shady and reported them and called them a scammer. After that my account was banned. I didin't even get a message it notifications or any explanation. I just read others issues and mine fit the profile. Offer up is the worst. I've never had a company trrst me this way after doing what is right and reporting someone as a scammer. Why have the option to report people if your going to punish the people doing the right thing. This company is going downhill fast!!!

After not using my account for at least 12 months, I attempted to log in to post some game consoles for sale. I was unable to log in and was informed that my account was disabled for violating community guidelines. I reached out to their support email with my query and was met with a boilerplate response stating they reserve the right to close accounts without prior warning at their own discretion with no explanation or education. I was not told why my account was closed other than, again, violating community and posting guidelines. They close subsequent accounts created on the same device and the only way around this is to subscribe to a VPN, so I can't even create a new account without a different MAC address. I had one listing taken down to my knowledge, a paintball tank, and I emailed them at the time asking why it was removed and they explained in detail. This was back when the site was still Letgo in the US. I am not the only person who this has happened to.

I have sold multiple items on offer up as a new client. My balance is $473.62 with a title of deposit pending. I have updated my account info, contacted customer support and they seem undetermined to help in any way. This has caused me grief and customers, due to not being able to order new merchandise. I will pursue legal action no matter the out come. Offer up must be held accountable for harboring customers money with no explanation. This is wrong and with absolutely no customer support or even a phone number. WHAT A SHAME!!!

I was scammed on OfferUp and the company has no phone or customer service. Their business practice is shady and ineffective. I lost $100 on a pair of shoes and OfferUp has no way to to recoup the money.

On September 4th, I made a sale with a buyer named Maria Lopez Transaction #201748664. This transaction was canceled automatically because the item was not scanned into the USPS system before the deadline. I spoke to an Offerup representative named Arian Gale with Offerup Service Request #78287607 through emailI. I was notified that even though the transaction was canceled, I will be able to recieve my payment once the item is scanned into the USPS System. It has been 17 days since I have shipped this item and is now considered lost. I have made several Service Request claims with the USPS as well as a Missing Item Request. The item has still not been located for some reason so I will be filing a claim with the USPS to compensate for the lost payment I was to receive. I have been trying to email Arian Gale to obtain a copy of the original receipt for Transaction #201748664 in order to successfully file this claim but I have been unsuccessful. I have video proof that I shipped it out!

I used offer up to try and sell a couch in March of 2021, i the cancled when i sold the couch through a different sight because i no longer needed to use it, they continue to take 20 dollars a month out of my account and everytime i try and call i can not get intouch with anyone, i am tired of being charge for something i canceled 6 months ago
